Technical assistance for the conceptualization of the call of co-development of ACCD and the elaboration of the bases and associated documents

The context

According to the Director Plan of Cooperation to de Development 2007-2010 of the Generalitat de Catalunya, co-development should be conceived as an instrument with multiple objectives and must take into account the role of the different actors of Catalan cooperation.

In response to the emerging character of the co-development and the diversity of experiences that includes this term and that are being conducted in all Catalunya, the Generalitat has developed a strategy of co-development of Catalan cooperation which should allow the establishment of the principles, objectives and priority lines of action that guide the actions of the Government in this area.

For this reason, aiming to give a boost to the different actors who work in co-development, a specific call for proposals has been developed in order to strengthen the capacities of groups of immigrants who have an interest in promoting co-development. This call is directed both to NGO and to municipalities, as we understand that the last ones play also an important role, , both by driving and managing initiatives and the accompanying the NGOs of immigrants from their municipalities.

The project

The main reason why the ACCD entrust to AVALUEM is to give form and content to the first call of subventions of performances of co-development of the Agencia.

When this was finally done, by AVALUEM with the close collaboration of the ACCD, some products arose:

• Basis of the call for joint development of the ACCD
• Assessment criteria of the projects presented to the call
• Application form for grants for co-development projects
