Description

The main target of the course of co-development is to form groups of immigrants and NGOs, and mixed citizen groups to improve their training and allow them to promote co-development processes with the origin villages of immigration.

Santa Perpetua Solidaria ordered to AVALUEM to perform a second level of the course of co-development as a continuation of the previous course held in the period November 2010 - June 2011 and a new one for new entrants.

CONTENT OF THE WORKSHOP LEVEL 1

  • INTRODUCTION TO CO-DEVELOPMENT, CONCEPTS AND HISTORY. We pondered about the concept of immigration and its effects in the society of origin and the host society, as well as the integration of co-development in the public policies of neighbouring countries.
  • CATALAN MODEL OF CO-DEVELOPMENT. Features of the Catalan model of cooperation and integration of co-development in the cooperation strategies of the Catalan institutions, as well as those actors that take part in them.
  • IDENTIFICATION OR PLANNING OF CO-DEVELOPMENT PROJECTS. In this module and the following it is planned an introduction to the management of the project cycle in international cooperation, with an approach of the logical framework (EML) as the main tool, passing through all phases, from the identification to the formulation and monitoring.
  • FORMULATION OF CO-DEVELOPMENT PROJECTS

CONTENT OF THE WORKSHOP LEVEL 2

  • MECHANISMS OF MANAGEMENT OF A PROJECT IN A DEMOCRATIC FORM, PARTICIPATORY AND TRANSPARENT. In this module, we talk about the decision-making process, communication of results and progress, and control mechanisms.
  • FORMULATION OF CO-DEVELOPMENT PROJECTS. We reviewed the content of the workshop 1 with special attention to the different levels of planning: objectives, results and activities.
  • PREPARATION OF BUDGETS. This module prepares the budget and works with the identification of human and material resources.
  • MONITORING AND CLOSURE OF PROJECTS. Addressing aspects related to the definition and monitoring of indicators, the base line and the sources of verification. We worked with the presentation of results using monitoring and finale reports.
