Description

The main target of the module of codevelopment is to form groups of immigrants and NGO and mixed civil groups to improve its formation and to allow them to promote codevelopment processes with the villages of origin of the immigration.

The Town hall of Cerdanyola entrusts to AVALUEM the realization of the course for the immigrants' associations of the municipality, dividing them in two groups of work: the associations that have activities in Latin America and those ones that have them in Africa.

Content of the workshop

The workshop, which is being developed in several meetings, consists of the following modules:

  • Introduction to the codevelopment, concepts and history. We thought about the migratory fact and its effects on the origin society and on the reception one, as well as on the integration of the codevelopment in the public politics of countries of our environment.
  • Catalan codevelopment model. Characteristics of the Catalan model of cooperation and the integration of the codevelopment in the strategies of cooperation of the Catalan institutions, as well as the actors who are part of them.
  • Identification or project planning of codevelopment. In this module and the following one, an introduction is done about the management of the project cycle in international cooperation, with the Approach of the Logical Frame (EML) as the main tool, going through all its phases, from the identification to the formulation and the pursuit.
  • Formulation of the codevelopment projects.
