Strategic planning workshops for Intervida

Motivations of the workshop

In their new way as a result of the judicial intervention that is submitted, the Intervida’s Foundation wants to make two strategic planning workshops to improve the quality of planning and facilitate the creation of strategic plans in each country where Intervida works. It's making a change in planning, with emphasis on the multiannual and strategic approach and collaborative planning between Barcelona and those offices on the ground.

The target is to develop the skills of the staff in strategic planning and expand knowledge on operational planning in all phases of the project cycle, with special attention to the phases of identification, monitoring and assessment of impacts.

Content of the workshop

The workshop, held at the headquarters of the Intervida’s Foundation in Barcelona, is divided into two stages, one of three sessions between June and July, and the other one in November.

The results of the first workshop are the basis for planning in countries where Intervida works. The Organization's staff will move to the ground to expose the results of the first planning workshop and having as a base this, planning up to three years to each of the countries where Intervida works. The second workshop will consist on collecting and assessing the consistency of the results generated in each of the countries.
