Motivation of the workshop
The main target of the module of co-development is to train immigrants, NGOs and citizen mixed groups to improve their training and enable them to promote co-development processes with the villages of origin of immigration.
The Amaziga House of Catalunya -created in 2010 by members of the Amaziga’s community of Catalunya as a space for the promotion of its culture and the language, and as place of meeting and exchange between Amazig and Catalan citizens- has among its specific objectives the co-development training, the promotion of intercultural relations and the establishment of bilateral relations between Catalonia and Tamazgha. Therefore, the course of co-development is fully relevant by its members.
Content of the workshop
This workshop, which is being developed in three meetings, consists of the following modules:
- Introduction to the codevelopment, concepts and history. We thought about migration and its effects both in the society of origin and at the host, as well as the integration of co-development in the public policies of neighbouring countries.
- Catalan codevelopment model. Characteristics of the Catalan model of cooperation and the integration of the codevelopment in the strategies of cooperation of the Catalan institutions, as well as the actors who are part of them.
- Identification or project planning of codevelopment. In this module and the following one, an introduction is done about the management of the project cycle in international cooperation, with the Approach of the Logical Frame (EML) as the main tool, going through all its phases, from the identification to the formulation and the pursuit.
- Formulation of the codevelopment projects.
