Social mobilization for ethical finance

The evaluated program

The program target is to sensitize and to mobilize the Catalan citizenship about the deep malfunctions of the world economic-financial system and of the markets of the global capitals as they generate imbalances and economic crises, especially in the poorest countries of the world, and also the effects of conflicts, violence and arms build-up.

The program takes as a target the sensitization of the Catalan population and the political incidence in two levels:

• The denunciation of the main problems and deviations of the functioning of the global capitals and its economic effects, which are harmful to the development and to the peace in the world.
• The promotion of the necessary political, juridical and economic measures that should be implemented in different scopes and the alternatives of existing finances to favour a global financial system promoter of social welfare and peace.

The program is addressed to the whole population of Catalunya, especially the groups who have not an economic formation and to a certain sectors fix such as: the educational community, political persons in charge, journalists and creators of public opinion and people involved in social entities.
