Eradication of the antipersonal mines and explosive remains of war: acting for the attainment of a positive peace

The evaluated program

The activities that are realized in this project are framed in the sensitization program for the eradication of the antipersonal mines and the explosive remains of war and peace education.

Moviment per the Pau has been doing this program since the year 1996, initiating it with exhibitions, conferences and round tables and has been spreading in an important way towards the educational centres that value positively the incorporation of this matter at some of the subjects. The project integrates all the knowledge that arranges the association along all the cooperation and international relations studies done with other countries affected by antipersonal mines and explosive war residues.

The main target of the project is the consolidation of the work for peace education in educational centres of the regions of Baix Camp and of Ribera d'Ebre, through the use of pedagogic resources adapted to the pupils and didactic activities/workshops.
