The project to evaluate

The Program puts emphasis on the strengthening of the Sanitary Network from the 4 props in which the network is based on the Municipality of Riberalta.

Two of the props are represented by the managing organs of the health: the Local Directory of Health (DILOS), in its most legislative slope and the Management of Network, in the executive. They took part in training processes on planning and management to make a better use of its material and human resources and, above all, to optimize the tools that presented themselves as a part of a process of consolidation and growth, as active members of a network in evolution.

The Sanitary Units, in the rural and urban area, were the third of the props, recipients of activities specially studied by its particular situation so that they turn into engines for the peripheral health.

To strengthen three programs, the Nutrition, the Sexual and Reproductive Health and the Extended Program of Vaccination, prioritized by its stagnation and instability and that appear of vital importance for the whole population; also special importance was given to the strengthening of the National information System in Health (SNIS), with chronic lacks, in the improvement of the laboratory network and to the creation of the Section of Community education, with which one was trying to increase the link of the community, the fourth prop, with the sanitary network, so that they complement each other and are promoted in the care and strengthening of the population of whom they are part.
